If you haven’t taken a trip through the Twilight Zone in Disneyland California Adventure’s Tower of Terror attraction, this will be your last year to do so.

The extension of Anaheim’s Magic Kingdom that put the word “park hopper” into your list of ticket options will be replacing the popular 13-story free-fall ride with a “Guardians of the Galaxy” themed attraction next summer, according to an announcement at San Diego’s Comic-Con.

The official Disney Blog says your last chance to check-in to the Hollywood Tower Hotel will be early in 2017, with the “Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT” slated to open in conjunction with the Marvel movie sequel next summer.

The new ride will feature the same free-fall sensation, but with all new audio and visual effects, and will also mimic the 70’s and 80’s flashback songs featured on the film’s best-selling soundtrack.

Disney says that this latest update is only the beginning of California Adventure’s larger plan to incorporate more super heroes throughout the 15-year-old Disneyland extension.
