Ginger Minj was the latest to be sent home on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars last week.

With the complicated and emotional elimination process this year, the contestants must weigh their decisions carefully.

Last week the "Sophie's Choice" was left to Alyssa Edwards who won the lip-sync challenge therefore being judge and jury over two of her sisters who landed in the bottom.

Alyssa eventually made the decision to send Ginger home over Katya, leaving many to wonder why because technically Katya was the most criticized.

San Diego Gay and Lesbian News talked to Ginger about the elimination and a few other things about her time on the now Emmy Award-winning show.

San Diego Gay and Lesbian News: Hi Ginger, how are you?

Ginger Minj: I am alright!

What is the biggest thing you’re going to miss about All Stars?

Being on it - getting the screen time! I miss being around the girls. As much as it is crazy, there is something very comforting about being in a room full of your friends, sisters, and peers. You just feel so creative in that mix, and I do miss that.

Are you mad at Alyssa for sending you home?

No...she was told to make a choice and she chose.

Is it more stressful this time on the show? Why or Why not?

It was a different kind of stress. On season seven I didn’t know what to expect, who would come into that room, what I had to do. This was stressful because of the opposite. I knew what to expect, I knew I’d be friends with whoever walked through the door, and the level of competition was going to be fiercer and harder.

If you do get to come back, will you really seek revenge on Alyssa?

I think it’ll be more revenge on the situation! Like, this is why I should not have gone home!

I didn’t see anything about your performance or outfit that would have made you in the bottom; it seems like the slightest thing can send you home. When it comes down to that, how do you think Ru makes her final selections?

It’s hard to say. It’s so subjective. I’m not Ru and I don’t get to sit out there and see everything.

What’s the first thing you did when you got home?

I ate fried chicken, and it was so good!

What’s next for you?

I’m coming out with an album that I’ve been working really hard on for about a year and a half. I also just finished a pilot for a TV show that looks like it could get the greenlight, so that’d be great.

You can catch RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars on Logo every Thursday at 8 pm, 7 pm Central
