The singer made her way to the Trump building early Wednesday morning.
Not one to take Trump’s win lightly, pop singer Lady Gaga instead silently stood her ground in front of New York's Trump Tower early Wednesday morning.
Just after it was announced that Trump would be the next president the music icon descended upon the 58-story building holding up a sign which read, “Love trumps hate.”
She also shared her vigil on Instagram saying:
"I want to live in a#CountryOfKindness #LoveTrumpsHate He divided us so carelessly. Let's take care now of each other."
Even through her busy schedule appearing on American Horror Story and promoting her latest album “Joanne,” Gaga was one of Clinton’s most visible supporters.
She performed at a Clinton rally on election eve with Jon Bon Jovi.
In an effort to promote solidarity, she changed her Twitter handle from #VoteHillary to #CountryofKindness after the announcement was made that Trump was victorious, Billboard reports.
