Since there was no real controversy surrounding Lady Gaga’s performance at the half-time show during Super Bowl LI, some are trying to stir the pot by making up their own.

Fans of Pink made reference to Mother Monster’s use of aerial choreography, claiming that the stunts are something the “Who Knew” artist does in her own act.

But Pink wants to preemptively strike down any incendiary social media criticisms before they even get started.

The artist posted a message on her Instagram page that should make clear she supports her female colleague and her performance at the game.

For the record: Let’s squash this before it even has a chance to be a thing…Lady Gaga killed it yesterday. Her voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness, all in front of millions and millions of people.

Let’s celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place. Who cares if I flew first. Cause I didn’t! Cirque and Peter Pan been in the air for years.

Now can we get back to the real controversy?

The one where our so called leader is stripping our humanity away minute by minute….

Dousing the antagonistic intentions of social media instigators Pink may have put to rest any further attempts at creating a celebrity feud.

Lady  Gaga has yet to respond to Pink’s supportive words, but it seems the observation is a non-issue now that star has set things straight from her camp.

Gaga just announced her world tour, and has confirmed her performance with Metallica at the 2017 Grammys.

The singer will also be a guest host on the premiere of Ru Paul’s Drag Race season nine airing in March.
