The two singers will have a tune on a new Netflix movie soundtrack.
They both have iconic hair and recognizable voices and now Dolly Parton And Sia are collaborating on a song together for a new movie that will stream on Netflix this year.
The film Dumplin' will feature the queen of country's music she co-wrote with Linda Perry and covers sung by Miranda Lambert, Alison Krauss, and Rhonda Vincent.
But it's the joint effort of "Here I Am" with Sia that might prove to be the most interesting of the soundtrack's pickings; Parton known for her country ballads while Sia rarely leaves the Billboard Dance charts.
The song, which drops on Sept. 14, is not an original but a cover from Parton's classic album Coat of Many Colors, which was also made into a television movie in 2015.
Dumplin' is based on the 2015 young adult novel written by Julie Murphy. It's the slice of life adventures of Willowdean, a plus-size teen who enters into a beauty pageant and in doing so inspires people around her while enraging her fading circuit queen mother (Jennifer Aniston).
Parton plays a big part in Murphy's book; the main character saying, "the best moments of her life have started with a Dolly Parton song."
Dumplin' stars Dove Cameron and Maddie Baillio with Ginger Minj.
The Dumplin’ soundtrack will be released November 30.
