The big question everyone's asking is what does it taste like?
Funko collectibles, based right here in San Diego, might usually be known for its sci-fi or horror vinyl figurines but they recently poured a bit of nostalgia into their brand by introducing cereals to their lineup.
The toy company released their latest part of a balanced breakfast; "Golden Girls" cereal made with blue ohs. There is no explanation given as to why the cereal is made in that color, perhaps it's a St. Olaf thing. Speaking of Rose, there is a mini Pop figurine of her in every box.
Funko has released other cereals over the past few months, including ones for Elvira and Freddy Kruger, and they plan on releasing more in the future.
They explain on the back of the box why they joined the food industry.
"Kids, remember what it was like to sit in front of the TV on Saturday morning and watch cartoons while eating your favorite cereal?! Well, Funko does! So we're bringing back Saturday morning to kids of all ages with our new sugar toasted FunkO's!"
I wonder if the Golden Palace serves these at their continental breakfast.
"The Golden Girls" cereal is available at Target and might be in both the toy and the breakfast aisle.
