The gang is back and they aren't in Arendelle anymore.
We got news late last month that our heroine from Frozen will not have a same-sex love interest in the highly-anticipated sequel, and in this newest trailer, it seems any love being portrayed is sisterly.
Disney has upped the plot details for this latest promotion which premiered early Monday morning. Still present are our heroes: Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) and of course our princess with the touch of cold, Elsa (Idina Menzel).
This time around the sisters work together to battle the creatures who inhabit the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle.
What Elsa learned about "letting go" in the first film is put to use in the second as she tries to protect her friends from dangers beyond the kingdom.
Fans have long speculated that Elsa is gay and hoped that Disney would finally take that last step and abandon their trademark queer-coding this time around, but it seems they are not letting their Pride flag go and keeping Elsa's orientation open for interpretation.
At any rate, this latest trailer is stunning and it looks like the House of Mouse has another classic on their hands.
Frozen 2 will hit theaters on November 22, 2019.
