Trans pop sensation Kim Petras “trolls” Westboro Baptist Church on Topeka billboards

San Diego Pride 2018 headliner Kim Petras is above hate, literally. The trans singer is featured on four electronic billboards in Topeka, Kansas, the birthplace of the anti-LGBTQ Westboro Baptist Church (WBC).

Westboro Baptist is renown for its revolting tactics against the LGBT community such as funeral picketing, holding signs that proclaim God approves of murder against the community.

According to TMZ, the Petras public relations team has no idea who put up the signs.

The publication also says they were told the billboards are located next to the WBC and were put there on purpose.

This isn’t the first time WBC has been confronted directly by the LGBT community because of their hateful beliefs.

In 2013, a home located across the street from WBC headquarters was purchased and painted in rainbow colors that represent the LGBT Pride Flag. The house is known as The Equality House.

Three years later, the home would be vandalized with hate speech and bullet holes. Today the house stands as a symbolic beacon of love.

As for the Petras billboards, the church has yet to comment on them.
