This over the top drag pageant that raises funds for The Center is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16!
(Editor's note: "Tantrums and Tiaras: Battle of the Bar Queens 2020" returns on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Observatory North Park. The show is an over-the-top drag competition where representatives from some of the community’s bars with little or no drag experience compete for the crown. The event benefits the programs of The San Diego LGBT Community Center. Leading up to the event, we will profile the six contestants, but you'll have to buy tickets and go the show to find out their drag name and see them in full make-up! More information and tickets can be purchased HERE. View the other contestants we've profiled this year HERE.)
Contestant Name: Patrick Holihan
Bar Representing: Urban Mo's Bar & Grill
Tell us a bit more about yourself.
I moved to San Diego in May 2019 with my husband. I'm trying to get more involved in the community and thought this was the perfect way to do so!
First time in drag?
Second time. I performed in Nov. 2018 for a charity show in Charleston.
What are you most excited about?
What are you most nervous about?
Falling on stage and getting and ankle injury!
Why are YOU going to win Tantrums & Tiaras?
I'm going to win because of all the dedication and hard work my team and I have put into being crowned!
Regardless of who comes out with the crown, all of us have been able to contribute to raising money and awareness for The Center. That is winning in itself!
