History

It was in 1980 when she was only 12 years old and Rene was 38. At this point, his first song was released, and she immediately felt for his melodious voice. Little did she know that he would become her prince charming for real.

Their love story began in 2000. She still remembers how he helped her at the time when she did not have any money to sponsor her first album. They decided to keep their relationship hidden from the public until 2002.

They tied the knot in 2005, and this was the happiest moment of her life. In 2006, both of them welcomed their first son into his world. 

Both of them supported each other in making a career; hence, they were very successful in their respective fields. In 2010, they welcomed their twins: Eddy and Nelson. Angelil supported not only his family but also his wife’s career until 2014.

This year he was diagnosed with throat cancer. The talented actor died in January 2016 at the age of 76.
