True Detective Season 4 Premiere Features A Lot Of Lesbian Energy From Jodie Foster
Alicia Christian “Jodie” Foster, the American actress and filmmaker is back on screen after going on a hiatus for the past few years. She is planning to mark her comeback through the Emmy Award-winning real crime drama series, True Detective. The series is working on the progress of returning for a fourth season in Night Country. First Look At Jodie Foster In True Detective Season 4
Recently HBO released the first peek of the actress in HBO Max’s much anticipated True Detective Season 4. And according to the footage, Foster will come up in the role of a renegade detective, Liz Danvers. With this role, the actress is planning to get back on her FBI agent roots as she takes up the role of a detective in True Detective: Night Country.
The Emmy Award-winning anthology crime series went on hiatus for the past few years after the premiere of the third season in 2019. Jodie Foster as Detective Liz will play alongside Kali Reis, Christopher Eccleston, and Fiona Shaw.
The series is said to be occurring in Alaska and is believed to be a story of two lead detectives who are in charge of investigating the strange disappearances of people working on the Tsalal Arctic Research Station. Also, concurrently with this investigation, viewers will get to see how the characters confront their inner demons themselves. As they dig more into the lies buried under the infinite ice, the haunted truth will come out exposing the true culprits.
In November, the series started filming in Iceland and HBO Max has not yet announced the release date. But instead, they have given out a few glimpses through HBO Max’s latest sizzle reel. The fourth season is expected to premiere in 2023 and from this reel, Foster’s first look is also revealed. She appears in a thick black coat with a high-key camp fur hood and a very stern expression. It even reveals the queen of lesbian energy brandishing a gun and fighting the elements alongside her co-star and former boxer, Kali Reis who appears as Evangeline Navarro.

Other than the major cast, the cast lineup for the most anticipated season includes, John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, Finn Bennet, Anna Lambe, etc. the previous seasons of this award-winning crime series has starred a handful of great actors throughout the three seasons premiered until 2019. This includes Mahershala Ali, Colin Farrell, Stephan Dorff, Woody Harrelson, Taylor Kitsch, Rachel McAdams, Matthew McConaughey, etc.
Jodie Foster, the two-time Oscar winner was a little silent in the past few years and released her most recent film, The Mauritanian in 2021. Even though she has starred in a handful of films throughout 2010, most of them were appreciated well by the audience. And with this massive return through the crime anthology series, the fans are thrilled to see her back on the screen.
