What Are The Little Miss Characters List Out The Little Miss Characters

The British series of children’s books, Mr. Men by English author Roger Hargreaves started publication in early 1971. And later after a decade, the author published an accompanying series, Little Miss with female characters. 

After the demise of the author in  1988, both these publications were taken over by his son, Adam Hargreaves who later released further Mr. Men and Little Miss stories including Mr. Cool, Mr. Rude, Mr. Good, Little Miss Bad, Little Miss Whoops, Little Miss Scary, Little Miss Hug, Little Miss Princess, and Little Miss Inventor.

The first thirty books of the Little Miss collection were written by Hargreaves himself while the remaining was taken over by his son.     

List Of The Little Miss Characters

The initial Little miss characters include “Bossy,” “Naughty,” “Neat,” “Sunshine,” “Tiny,” “Trouble,” “Helpful,” “Magical,” “Shy,” “Splendid,” “Late,” “Scattered,” etc.

later in 1984, he penned the series with new characters like Little Miss Giggles, Little Miss Twins, Little Miss Chatterbox, Little Miss Dotty, Little Miss Lucky, Little Miss Star, Little Miss Fickle, and Little Miss Contrary.

And later two years after the death of Hargreaves, Viviane Cohen, Evelyne Lallemand, and Colette David developed new character that includes Little Miss Brainy, Little Miss Busy, Little Miss Stubborn, Little Miss Quick, Little Miss Wise, Little Miss Curious, Little Miss Fun, Little Miss Tidy, and Little Miss Somersault. These characters belonged to the limited edition of the French edition of Little Misses.

Years later, the Little Miss characters were taken over by Adam Hargreaves who gave birth to Scary Little Miss, Bad Little Miss, and Whoops Little Miss. 

Following are the characters of the female counterpart of Mr. Men, Little Miss. 

Little Miss Bossy

Just like her name, this character is very bossy and is the first book of the Little Miss series by Roger Hargreaves. She has a pair of boots with a mind as a result they never listen to her since she is too bossy.  

Little Miss Naughty

The second book of the series. Naughty loves to play with practical jokes. She wakes up every day thinking that it’s a good day for being naughty.

Little Miss Neat

The third book in the Little Miss series. She is as neat as two pins and lives in Twopin cottage. 

Little Miss Sunshine

The fourth book of the series by Roger Hargreaves was published on 1 September 1981. She always maintains her looks and personality. 

Little Miss Tiny

The fifth book of the series. The character is not only just small, rather she is tiny. 

Little Miss Trouble

The sixth book in the Little Miss series. She is a prankster just like Mr. Mischief. 

Little Miss Helpful

The seventh book in the Little Miss series. Just like the name, this character tries to help everyone but ends up making everything worse.

Little Miss Magic

The eighth book in the Little Miss series. She is the resident magician. 

Little Miss Shy

The ninth book in the Little Miss Series. She is blue with black hair and pink cheeks and is scared of everything and thus hardly goes out.

Little Miss Splendid

The tenth book in the Little Miss series. She lives in an estate with a golden bathtub and believes she is better than everyone else.

Little Miss Late

The eleventh book in the Little Miss series. She was late for everything, and couldn’t find a job. She tries to work in a bank, but by the time she reaches there, the bank has closed.

Little Miss Scatterbrain

The twelfth book in the Little Miss series. She is the least intelligent woman in the world.

Little Miss Greedy

The thirteenth book in the Little Miss series. She has the same appetite as her cousin, Mr. Greedy. She even has a large breakfast.

The fourteenth book in the Little Miss series. She is blue with freckles, a yellow nose, red hair, and yellow barrettes. She can’t stop giggling and in doing so, she makes everyone else giggle too.

Little Miss Twins

The fifteenth book in the Little Miss series. She lives in Twoland and does everything in pairs and even says the last words twice. 

Little Miss Chatterbox

The sixteenth book in the Little Miss series. She talks a lot, just the same as her brother, Mr. Chatterbox. She even gets fired every time she works at a job because of her talking habit and later works as a telephone worker. 

Little Miss Dotty

The seventeenth book in the Little Miss series. She lives in Nonsenseland and is just plain dotty. 

Little Miss Lucky

The eighteenth book in the Little Miss series. She lives in Horseshoe Cottage, on top of a hill.

Little Miss Star

The nineteenth book in the Little Miss series. She wants to be famous more than anything.

Little Miss Fickle

The twentieth book in the Little Miss series. She always has an issue making up her mind.

The other characters of the series include Little Miss Contrary, Little Miss Busy, Little Miss Quick, Little Miss Wise, Little Miss Tidy, Little Miss Brainy, Little Miss Stubborn, Little Miss Curious, Little Miss Fun, Little Miss Somersault, Little Miss Scary, Little Miss Bad, Little Miss Whoops, Little Miss Princess, Little Miss Hug, Little Miss Fabulous, Little Miss Sparkle, Little Miss Inventor, and Little Miss Brave. 

The French characters of the Little Miss French series include Little Miss Carefree, Little Miss Brilliant, Little Miss Busy-Body, Little Miss Careful, Little Miss Loud, Little Miss Prim, Little Miss Show-Off, Little Miss Pretty, and Little Miss Yes. 

The series also includes some special characters like Little Miss Jealous, Little Miss Christmas, Little Miss Birthday, Little Miss Stella, Little Miss Explorer, Little Miss Baby, Little Miss Ginger, Little Miss Scary, Little Miss Sporty, and Little Miss Valentine.
