American soap actor Cody Longo, who is famous for his appearance in ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘Hollywood Heights’, was found dead at his home yesterday. According to reports, the actor was about to turn 35 in a few weeks and was found still at the home near his bed in Austin, Texas. 

One of Longo’s family members has testified that the police found him dead right after his wife’s call suggesting that she was not able to reach him and she felt uneasy. Reaching the site, the police had to collapse the door to enter the house as no one answered the door. 

Longo was found dead in his bed but the cause of his death is yet to be found. Since he was severely addicted to alcoholism for years, his family believes that he has died due to alcoholism. 

Cody Longo’s Personal Life

Longo has been married to dancer and social media influencer Stephanie Nicole Clark since 2015 and the couple has two children, an elder daughter, and a younger son. He also has another son as a toddler, whose name also hasn’t been disclosed. 

Earlier, Cody Longo dated actor, singer, and dancer, Cassie Scerbo in 2009, but their relationship only lasted a year when they broke up in 2010. Longo and Scerbo never made their relationship public, though they were found together on many occasions. 

In her statement, Longo’s wife said that Cody was their whole world and she and her kids are shattered beyond devastation. She shared that he was the best father and that the children and herself would miss and love him forever. 

His representative Alex Gittelson stated that Longo was his dear friend going back many years before he became his client. Gittelson also has said that Longo has taken a pause in his career from acting to pursue music and he also wanted to spend more time with his family and kids.

Gittelson also remarked that Longo was excited to return to his acting career in 2023. His representative also remembers him as a person who is loyal, loving, and talented, and going to be greatly missed.

Allegations Against Cody Longo

Back in November 2020, Longo was accused of domestic assault after he had a drunken fight with his wife in Tennessee. Also in 2021, he also pleaded guilty, charged with sexual assault towards a 9-year-old girl.

The young actor was born on March 4, 1988, and has shown his skills as an actor, singer, and writer. He stepped into his acting career as a teenager in “Make It or Break It” in 2009.

Since then, he appeared in many movies and TV shows and he is best known for his roles in Death House, CSI: NY, CSI, Fame, High School, The Last Movie Star, Piranha 3D, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, For the Love of Money, Nashville, The Catch, Secrets and Lies, The Silent Thief and more. Besides, he also released a song titled “Atmosphere”, which was in the top 100 on iTunes.
