Why Doesn’t Leonardo Dicaprio Love Kate Winslet? Kate Says Leo’s Sex Scenes Were ‘Weird’
The Titanic actress Kate Winslet revealed what it was like filming the sex scene with her friend and co-star Leonardo Di Carpio.
Kate Winslet disclosed that her sex scene filmed in “Revolutionary Road” was a “bit weird” because it was filmed in front of her then-husband Sam Mendes, who was also the director of the movie.
She recalled filming in front of her husband. “ It was the element of, ‘OK my husband is over there.’ That was a bit weird.”
Although Kate Winslet felt uncomfortable, DiCarpio assured that his co-star was a “consummate professional” as she landed a golden globe award for her portrayal of April in the 2009 film.
Earlier, Di Carpio raved about his relationship with Kate Winslet ahead of the release of the “Revolutionary Road”. He said that “We were actively looking for something to do together. It felt really natural. She is my homie.”
He went on to say that their close bond was an “advantage” when filming complex scenes, even though Winslet felt uncomfortable filming the scene in front of her former husband.
He continued that “We can push the boundaries with each other. We use the fact that we’ve been such good friends through the years to our advantage. There’s definitely a comfort level that we have between us and we challenge each other as actors.”
The Rare Hollywood Friendship
On their friendship, the “Avatar – the way of water” actress revealed that she is grateful for her friendship with Leonardo as he is like her family. “It’s one of those rare Hollywood friendships that I feel very blessed to have,” she gushed.
In the same context, she revealed how nervous she was working on the sets of “Titanic” with Leonardo.
“I did think to myself beforehand, it is going to be hard because you know, what if I really fancy him? And I so thought I was going to because he is absolutely gorgeous.” She added that they shared a sibling bond.
Kate Winslet also spoke about her split with Sam Mendes in 2020, with whom she shares a son, Joe.
She revealed that the duo was mature enough to understand the grounds for the reason for their split.
As they were grown-ups and she realizes that the separation would be equally hard for him as they both share a child together whom they love equally and are assured to “raise him together without any conflicts” in the future.

Di Carpio’s Dating Life
Meanwhile, Leonardo Di Carpio’s dating life is spiraling on the internet as he keeps dating young models who ages below 25 years of age. He has been severely criticized for his fondness for younger women.
Rumors suggest that he is currently dating a 19-year-old model after she broke up with his long-term girlfriend, Camila Monroe after she turned 25 last summer.
Over his age preference, radio host Megan Kelly slammed the “Revenant” actor saying he will never find a beautiful wife whom he can build a family with.
“He is now dating a teenager, literally a teenager. He’s in the news every week for how he won’t date anybody past age 25. If does, it makes news. And now he’s actually gone down to a teenager. She could literally be his daughter.” She staggered.
He was also criticized by comedian Amy Schumer; she began “Leonardo DiCarpio, What can even I say about him? He has done so much to fight climate change and leave behind a cleaner, greener planet for his girlfriends. Because he’s older and they are younger.”
Amy promoted it as a joke which hit back at her as many of the netizens claimed as she stole the joke from a Twitterati who posted it in December 2021.
However, she assured that she didn’t steal it as she is not active on Twitter, and the lie detector test also assured the public that she was genuine.
