First time in history Aztecs make it to a round of 16
SAN DIEGO -- The SDSU Aztec women's basketball team beat West Virginia this week to secure a berth in the round of Sweet Sixteen for the first time in Aztec history.
They want you to help them celebrate with a barbecue on Saturday in San Diego - just before their game against the Duke Blue Devils - and then watch the game with other fans on the big screens.
Fans are invited to come out and support the SDSU women's team. The event will offer food, giveaways and great basketball. The team will be physically playing Duke in Memphis but the game will be carried on big screens in the Goodall Alumni Center's Ballroom.
