Dr. Kevin Nadal to give free speaking engagement on Filipino American Psychology at SDSU
(SDSU) On Friday December 4, New York-based author and one-man comedy show with a Columbia University Ph.D. will come to San Diego State University for a free speaking engagement.
Dr. Kevin L. Nadal, Ph.D., will give his lecture on Filipino American Psychology at 2 p.m. at General Mathematics & Computer Science (GMCS) 301.
Dr. Nadal’s lecture encompasses various issues impacting Filipino Americans. The public is welcome to attend, but space is limited. Please arrive early to ensure getting a seat.
Dr. Nadal’s visit to SDSU is a part of his book-signing tour from his recent publication, Filipino American Psychology: A Handbook of Theory, Research, and Clinical Practice. Along with his book, Dr. Nadal brings with him expertise in the psychology field as well as his performing experience. He has achieved many awards and honors, including the 2009 William Stewart Travel Award from CUNY Academy and the 2008 Special Award of Recognition from the Philippine Economic and Cultural Endowment (PEACE, USA). He was also featured in media outlets as an interviewee for the Front Door on Home & Garden Television (HGTV) and an Ireland radio show, The Orla Barry Show, to name a few.
