GLBT camping trip is set for May 7-9 in Cleveland National Forest

The rodeo gang will be saddling up soon and heading to East County for the annual camping trip.

The Greater San Diego Chapter of the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association will be joining The Leather Realm, The Sisters, The San Diego Bear and other members of the GLBT community for the camping trip.

It will be May 7-9 at the Burnt Rancheria Campground in the Cleveland National Forest.

Each camp site is allowed two tents and two cars, eight people per site and one dog per site.

The approximate cost per person will be $25, which includes the camp site for two nights and the community dinner on Saturday and firewood for the weekend. The other meals can be worked out on your own.

Guests are also welcome to hang out on Saturday and join the community dinner for $10 per person.

If you are interested in participating, send e-mail as soon as possible at kellster_2000@yahoo.com. State who you will be sharing a site with or if you need to be paired up to make it more cost-effective.

Payment is due by May 1, according to Kelly Gilliland, president of the San Diego chapter.
