SAN DIEGO -- Longtime community activists and partners Nancy Moors and Ann Garwood have resigned from their posts with the Hillcrest Business Association (HBA). Moors had been serving her second term as the association’s president, and Garwood was the association’s longest sitting board member.
HBA’s board of directors approved vice president Nick Moede, who owns local nightclubs Rich’s and Numbers, as Moors’ successor. City Deli owner Michael Wright will serve as vice president.
HBA Executive Director Ben Nichols said he does not anticipate the change will affect organizational operations.
