SDGLN Poll: Readers think Oscar telecast is boring

SAN DIEGO – A majority of readers of San Diego Gay & Lesbian News who took our poll say that the annual Academy Awards telecast is boring. The Oscars were broadcast live Sunday night from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

Our poll question was: What is your opinion of the Academy Awards telecast?

The results, which are not scientific, reveal that 62% of readers say they think the Oscar telecast is a big yawn, 33% think it is must-see TV, and 5% think it’s like watching a train wreck.

The SDGLN Reader Poll is open for voting for seven consecutive days. A new poll question will debut each Monday.

This week’s poll question asks readers: Do you plan to attend Cine Gay during the San Diego Latino Film Festival from March 8-18?
