SDGLN Poll: Readers predict how Supreme Court will rule on marriage equality

SAN DIEGO – Readers of San Diego Gay & Lesbian News who took our poll are split on their expectations of how the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on marriage equality.

Our poll question was: How will the Supreme Court rule on marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples?

The results, which are not scientific, reveal that 48% of readers think that the high court will provide marriage rights to all, 45% predict that the justices will grant limited marriage rights, and 7% believe that the Supreme Court will deny marriage rights for all.

After hearing cases involving California’s Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the high court is expected to rule before the current session concludes at the end of June.

The new SDGLN Reader Poll question asks readers: Which do you prefer? Boxers, briefs, boxer briefs, going commando or bikinis, thongs or jocks?
