New Gillette ad has polarized its customer base

Gillette ad has divided their customers.

For over a century Gillette has offered men (and later women) their popular razors for grooming but in a new advertisement they address the #Metoo movement and toxic masculinity and some people are not happy. 

Replacing their slogan, "The best a man can get," with a new one: "The best men can be," seems to have left longtime customers scratching their chins.

Hillcrest T-Mobile store robbed

The phones which can't be activated may be sold online.

Two San Diego T-Mobile stores were robbed during operating hours on Tuesday, the thieves making off with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. 

San Diego Police say the first incident happened at about 6:45 pm at the T-Mobile store located in Rolando at 5807 University Avenue.

Anchorage, Alaska has anti-discrimination laws in place that protect people based on orientation and gender identity, but one faith-based women's homeless shelter has refused a trans woman entrance to their facility and is suing the city to keep it that way.

Two storms will bring lots of rain to San Diego this week.

Expect several days of rainfall in San Diego this week; a series of Pacific storms will hit the county starting on Monday. 

According to ABC 10, rain will begin in the early afternoon and continue into the evening during rush hour. 

Netflix stands up for gay rights

Netflix may pull production of new series from North Carolina if that state does not amend transphobic bill.

Unlike the main character in their highly successful "Bird Box" film, Netflix is not blindfolding themselves from issues in society. Recently the streaming giant pulled production from North Carolina because of that state's lingering essence of anti-LGBT House Bill 2.

Todd Gloria officially announces his run for mayor of San Diego

In 2008, he was then elected to the San Diego City Council representing the Third District and stepped in as interim mayor after Bob Filner resigned amid controversy. 

Former San Diego City Councilmember (District 3), Council President, and Interim Mayor Todd Gloria announced he is running for mayor. In a YouTube video posted on Wednesday Gloria made his announcement and if he wins he will be the first person-of-color and first openly gay mayor in city history.

Woman in nail spa goes on nasty rant against gay man

Seattle nail salon is the site of a woman who goes on a homophobic tirade.

Christopher Brown just wanted to get a pedicure at his favorite salon in Lynnwood, Washington, but he got more than he bargained for when a female customer went on a homophobic rant because he asked her to take her phone off speaker.
