Witnesses claim that the someone shot out the front window.
Gay Star News, a British LGBT publication, is reporting that an LGBT bar in England received some alleged gunfire on Sunday, June 19, just a week after the Orlando mass shooting which left 49 people dead.
The publications says that police closed off the road to Limes Bar in Canterbury on Monday to conduct an investigation.
Witnesses say that around 10 pm on Sunday, someone fired at the establishment, shooting out the front window.
These claims have not been confirmed by the Kent police department.
Officer Sally Smith spoke with KentOnline, saying, “No injuries were reported and the investigation into the incident continues.
“A window was broken and the cause of the damage remains under investigation. No weapons were reported to have been seen.”
The report also claims that two arrests have been made: a 17-year-old from Hythe and an 18-year-old from Dover. The teenagers are being held on bail.
