Donald Trump has been confirmed to speak at the Family Research Council’s (FRC) 2016 Value Voters Summit on Friday, Sept. 9.

The FRC, led by ultra-conservative Tony Perkins, is an organization which is notorious for making extreme claims against the LGBT community.

Perkins fears that homosexuals will create a “Christian Holocaust,” and in the future trains will carry people off to be imprisoned.

“I’m beginning to think, are re-education camps next?” Perkins asked in 2014, “When are they going to start rolling out the boxcars to start hauling off Christians?”

Perkins also believes that LGBT people are pedophiles and the “It Gets Better” campaign is merely a ploy to “recruit” children into the gay lifestyle.

The Value Voter Summit already has over 70 guest speakers including, Kirk Cameron, Sen. Ted Cruz and Laura Ingraham.

A press release through PR Newswire states: “Donald Trump will address the 11th annual gathering of the Values Voter Summit, an event that draws thousands of grassroots activists to the nation’s capital.

“Trump is scheduled to speak Friday, September 9 – just 59 days before Election Day.

“This is the first time a Republican nominee for president has addressed the Values Voter Summit since its inception in 2006. Both major party nominees have been invited to make their case to social conservative voters.”
