Nearly three months after the attack on Pulse nightclub in Orlando, the FBI and Florida police are looking into threats from a man who said he wants to “exterminate” LGBT people living in Fort Lauderdale.

According to reports the man by the name of Craig Jungwirth took to social media, using a fake profile picture, saying that, “It's time to clean up Wilton Manors from all you AIDS-infested losers."

Facebook has since deleted the profile.

Local LGBT bars in the area are boosting their security because the man seems very serious in his threats:

"If you losers thought the Pulse Nightclub shooting was bad, wait 'til you see what I'm planning for Labor Day."

And:

"I'm gonna be LOLing you f***** faster than cops kill n******. It's time to clean up Wilton Manors from all you AIDS-infested losers."

Local police say that Jungwirth has a criminal history, including stalking charges.

He is also accused of vandalizing local gay club Rumors Bar and Grill in Wilton Manors, FL.

Owner of Rumors, Nick Berry, says the threats aren’t to be taken lightly, "I kind of know that this guy could have it in him to do this. I believe he has some mental issues."

Wilton Manors Police Chief Paul O’Connell spoke to the local news outlets, saying they have talked to the man they believe made the posts and his agency is conducting an “intense investigation.”

Some reports that emerged on Facebook yesterday said Jungwirth had been arrested, but Chief O'Connel says that is false, "The Facebook posting is absolutely FALSE! I can assure you that when we have credible, non-sensitive information we will share it with the entire community.”

Queerty is reporting that Jungwirth is a scam artist who created Beach Bear Weekend in Fort Lauderdale to pilfer money from the LGBT community.

On June 12, 2016, a gunman shot and killed 49 people at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
