The wife of the Orlando Nightclub shooter has been arrested by the FBI in connection with the tragedy that took 49 innocent lives in June 2016.

Noor Salman was taken into custody at her San Francisco home said FBI spokesman Prentice Danner on Monday morning.

Her charges aren't known at this time, but according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Abraham Simmons, Noor will have an appearance in court on Tuesday in Oakland, California.

Salman married Omar Mateen in 2011, and authorities have questioned whether Salman should face charges regarding her knowledge of the shootings.

Investigators became concerned with Salman’s involvement, saying that she gave them conflicting reports about Mateen’s intentions that night, noting that the gunman spent thousands-of-dollars on weapons and ammunition in the weeks before the attack.

The Pulse shootings claimed the lives of 49 people and injured over 50, making it the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.

This is a developing story.
