Some Chula Vista parents and religious leaders not happy that Drag Queen Story Hour is headed to their library.

Drag queens across the country are going to the library to read to young children in a program called "Drag Queen Storytime," while some San Diegans think this type of community event is overdue others in Chula Vista are calling foul and have no interest in allowing their children to check it out when it debuts at their local branch next month.

Title IX and Title VII are federal laws that prohibit discrimination in schools and employment respectively. 

How exactly they are defined and by whom is still being debated. This week the Trump administration wants to make it clear that Title VII does not protect transgender people at work and they are using a business' dress code as one reason why.
