California State Assemblymember Todd Gloria (D-San Diego), released “Thrive" on Tuesday,  the first television ad in his Mayoral campaign.

“My parents’ story of a hardworking couple who were able to buy a home and put their two kids through college in San Diego isn’t possible for all San Diegans today. That’s not okay with me and it’s why I’m running for Mayor,” said Assemblymember Gloria. “A Gloria administration will be about making sure every San Diegan in every neighborhood can thrive in this city.”

Assemblymember Gloria launched his campaign for Mayor in January 2019.

If elected, Assemblymember Gloria would be the City of San Diego’s first person of color and the first LGBT person ever elected Mayor.

Here are the other candidates in the San Diego mayoral race. Incumbent Mayor Kevin Faulconer cannot seek a third term due to term limits.
