She confirms the news that she was paid $130,000 by Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen for maintaining the matter discreetly ahead of the 2016 election. The transaction happened just a few days before the election.
The incident came to light after a media outlet reported that such kind of a transaction happened during the time. To unfold the details, an investigation was commenced. As time folds, more women come forward with evidence claiming that they were paid to maintain silence over the affair with Donald Trump. In 2018 Michael Cohen was charged with financial crimes in relation to payments to Playboy model Karen McDougal and other women.

Where Do The Investigations Stand?
No charges have been placed on Trump as all the payment details point out to Cohen. The investigators and prosecutors don’t have solid evidence to put the former president in jail.
Cohen pleaded guilty to his crimes and served prison time. He is now disbarred and claims that he was paid $420,000 to cover up the issue regarding Stormy Daniels and other victims.
The jury has now been given a chance for the ex-president to testify in the coming weeks. In addition, they signaled that Trump could face criminal charges if he is found guilty in the case. Trump continued that they were no alleged affair as no charges were brought before him and now they were faking one. In addition, Trump and his lawyers allege that he was extorted into paying the money to Daniels and impeded so that he should be considered a victim in the case.
Daniels and her lawyers have denied any extortion claims made by the former president. During the final day of testimony smoothly cooperated with the investigators to find out what happened in the case.
Cohen admitted that he was given instructions to make the victims not talk about their sexual affairs with Donald Trump. He confessed that he paid women to maintain silence over the matter. It is presumed that the former lawyer has become estranged from the former president and stated that he is confessing not because he wanted revenge or anything.
Cohen seems to be reformed after his jail time. Cohen wishes the Jury to hold Trump accountable for the crimes he has done so far. Cohen was once influenced by Trump to clean off his strains. But sooner he realized that she was not cleaning the stains instead just adding some stains on him.
