SAN DIEGO -- And the winners are … all of us!
Red Carpet Relief and The Center’s Young Professionals Council (YPC) have teamed up in a groundbreaking partnership with an opportunity to view the MTV Video Music Awards in style this year at "Red Carpet Relief, Take Two!"
The second Red Carpet Relief event is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 12.
Red Carpet Relief organizers and the YPC have set a fundraising goal of $6,000 to be generated through sponsorships and ticket sales. Red Carpet Relief offers sponsorship at four levels.
The “Title Sponsorship,” at $1,250, includes equal billing with Red Carpet Relief and the YPC in all press, media and advertising and 10 tickets to the event.
“Sponsorships in a Leading Role” (limited to seven) pay $425 and get four event tickets along with recognition at the event, and on the Red Carpet Relief website.
“Sponsorships in a Supporting Role,” for $225, includes everything in the Leading Role Sponsorship, but with two tickets to the event.
The “Nominee Sponsorship,” for $100, includes two tickets and recognition at the event.
“Businesses and people who sponsor a benefit for The Center’s youth services are assured of one thing: Their money supports programs that impacts youth when that impact counts the most,” said Arlon Jay Staggs, Red Carpet Relief creator and organizer.
Ultimately, that’s why Staggs, also a member of the YPC, said he and his partner, Drew Auker, chose to include the YPC in their second Red Carpet Relief event.
“We wanted our second event to stay local, and saw the brilliant opportunity to work with an already-effective team of young, vibrant professionals,” Auker said.
Businesses are encouraged to sponsor this first-ever VMA’s-themed event in San Diego and become a part of a rising-star cause in the community. Any person or business who would like to sponsor the "Red Carpet Relief, Take Two!" should e-mail Drew Auker, Red Carpet Relief sponsorship coordinator, at drew@RedCarpetRelief.org.
