PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- The Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend plans to once again heat up the desert with some of the biggest names in the business.
The next March 28 through April 1 event will be The Dinah's 22nd year of having the largest lesbian party in the world and Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta will kick off the festivities with an exclusive opening night performance.
Sutta will perform at Zelda's Nightclub on Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs on Thursday, March 29, 2012.
Sutta, one of the voices behind the PussyCat Doll's most celebrated single, "Don't Cha," recently embarked upon a solo career of her own. Her debut single, "Show Me," has already hit No. 1 on the Billboard dance charts and the highly anticipated album is expected to be released in mid 2012.
The Pussycat Dolls performed as a group at The Dinah back in 2006.
"We are beyond thrilled to have Jessica Sutta come back and perform at The Dinah’s opening night kick-off party," said Mariah Hanson, founder and producer of Club Skirts Presents The Dinah, in a statement.
"It’s a Dinah first! Her show will be one unlike any other. She’s an amazing talent and a fantastic activist for LGBT rights. It makes perfect sense to have her back. She’s definitely one of the fastest-rising artists of tomorrow to keep your eyes on!"
The Pussycat Dolls and Sutta gained worldwide fame with their Top 10 singles and multi-platinum albums, but Sutta stands alone. FHM Magazine recently crowned her one of the "100 Sexiest Women in the World."
"Show Me" hit dance floors worldwide this Fall and immediately climbed the charts.
Sutta works hard to support marriage equality and also dedicates her time to the New Possibilities Foundation, an America-based non-profit that raises money to support educational programs for the underpriviledged children in India.
The stunningly beautiful and popular dance chart artist has a huge gay following and counts her gay fans as some of her favorite fans.
Hanson has a reputation for spotting and booking breakthrough artists for The Dinah every year, and can boast having Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Colbie Caillat and Keisha, just to name a few, as many recent favorites who danced in the desert for Dinah attendees just before exploding on the culture and music scenes.
