SAN DIEGO -- AT&T is supporting several LGBT initiatives across the Golden State in celebration of national LGBT Pride Month throughout the month of June and beyond.
The telephone company is a major sponsor of LGBT events in California including the San Diego Pride Festival on July 21-22; Frameline 36, San Francisco’s International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival; the 2012 San Francisco Pridefest and its official kick-off party; and the Los Angeles Pride Festival.
AT&T is also sponsoring the “Summer of Pride,” with CBS Radio DJ’s Fernando & Greg, who will be ambassadors for AT&T at several San Francisco community events including the 2012 AIDS walk.

Beyond California, AT&T is producing or sponsoring LGBT campaigns, programs and events across the country. Among them is AT&T’s sponsorship of the OUT “Pride Guide” mobile iPhone app that will feature insider details on the biggest Pride celebrations in five of the country’s largest markets: New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago.
AT&T was one of the first Fortune 500 companies to adopt a non-discrimination policy toward sexual orientation, followed by the adoption of one of the first domestic partner benefits of LGBT employees. This commitment to inclusion is further materialized by LEAGUE at AT&T, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies Employee Organization of AT&T. This employee resource group serves to ensure the success of AT&T by championing diversity, executing on LGBT initiatives, and leveraging relationships to develop employees personally and professionally.
