SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus (SDGMC) is hiring a part-time Accounting & Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the non-profit organization.
As the organization continues to expand, including the recent hiring of its first executive director, additional staff is needed to help with SDGMC's administrative functions.
The position description calls for 10 to 15 hours a week, with occasional evening and weekend work required. The assistant will provide support for the day-to-day administrative and accounting operations of SDGMC, including bookkeeping, patron support and clerical tasks.
The ideal candidate will possess a number of qualifications outlined in the job description, including two years experience in a similar position, knowledge of accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks.
