Doug Case honored by City of San Diego

SAN DIEGO -- March 13 was unlike any other day in San Diego, especially for SDSU employee, Doug Case.

“By the Council of the City of San Diego, that this Council, for and on behalf of the people of San Diego, does hereby declare March 13, 2013 to be “Doug Case Day,” announced city Councilmember Marti Emerald.

Case has been an active board member on the College Area Community Council for 27 years and has served as president for the past seven years. As of March 13, Case ended his term as president.

“I think Doug leaves big shoes to fill, given how much he has given to the College Area over the years, but I know he has plans to continue to be actively engaged giving back to the community he loves,” said Emerald’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Marisa Berumen.
