SAN DIEGO -- HRC San Diego's next monthly social scheduled for tonight, HRC Connect, will feature a presentation by District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis.
Each month, the local chapter of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) invites the community to come together for an evening of socializing, networking, and to learn how to connect with the organization and its work.
Dumanis, who was first elected District Attorney of San Diego County in 2003, is the first openly lesbian and Jewish woman to hold the post. In that time, she has become one of the region's most respected law enforcement leaders. Dumanis will speak about LGBT issues at the HRC Connect event and there will be time for discussion and questions from participants.
The event will take place at Busalacchi's A Modo Mio, 3707 Fifth Ave. in Hillcrest, from 7-9 pm.
The free event is open to the public. For more information click HERE.
