Pride month is in full swing and so are the celebrations. Many cities are enjoying Pride festivities and with that comes both the good and bad. The good are the many events that commemorate Stonewall, the genesis of the Gay Rights Movement.

Locally San Diego drag queens reach "legendary" status in a new exhibit at the San Diego History Center.

The variety of events for LGBT people and their allies in San Diego seems to grow each week especially during June and July when the city prepares for its Pride festivities. This week it's time to celebrate the limitless talent of local drag queens who have entertained San Diego for decades.

This big guy was brought in by a Good Samaritan on March 30th, 2019.

He has been vaccinated. I'm now ready for my new home!

It was a week of remembrance and reflection as San Diego honored the 49 innocent lives lost at Pulse Nightclub 3 years ago. The Center invited guests to visit their altar which displayed the names and faces of the 49 lost lives. The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus also lent their voices to an event honoring Pulse at Flicks which raised money for the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
