SAVE THE DATE for the 2015 Holiday Potluck
SAVE THE DATE: Dec. 8 for our annual Holiday Potluck! The Hillcrest Town Council will be joining the Bankers Hill Community Group for a Holiday Potluck with our neighbors at their location at 3030 Front St. More information to come as we get closer to the date.
Upcoming Community Discussion of Parking
At our Oct. 13 meeting, we would like to have an open discussion on parking issues. In past years, our surveys indicate that parking is Hillcrest's #1 issue for residents. We expect that hasn't changed much.
The Parking District has been asked to look into replacing parallel parking with angle parking on some streets and to consider residential permit parking in some areas of Hillcrest. Come and tell us how these potential changes would affect you, how you think they might best be implemented (if at all), and what other ideas you have for making parking more equitable and accessible.
AIDS Walk & Run San Diego
The Hillcrest Town Council is pleased to announce we have formed a team to support the 26th Annual AIDS Walk & Run. We are walking to raise funds for our neighbors, friends, and others who are living with HIV/AIDS. Please join our team and/or contribute to our efforts!
The HTC team set a goal to raise $1,000 by Sept. 26. Help us reach our goal by visiting our team website and joining our team. If you can't make it on the 26th or are unable to walk with us, you can still make a contribution.
Our team leader is Luke Terpstra. Feel free to contact him at email@example.com with any questions. Thank you and we hope to see you on Saturday, Sept. 26!
