NEWS 

A man living near California’s wine country was arrested after he made threats against the LGBT community saying he was going to set off pipe bombs at a local Safeway and a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office substation.

A judge in the ironically named city of Bakersfield issued a final judgment in favor of Tastries Bakery owner Cathy Miller; she can refuse service to customers based on her religious beliefs.

The Texas town of Del Rio has a new mayor; openly gay veteran Bruno “Ralphy” Lozano (D). He won the office in the May 5 municipal election by 62-percent.

Republican Jazmina Saavedra who is running for Congress in California’s 44th District filmed herself berating a transgender woman through a closed bathroom stall in a Los Angeles restaurant.
