There is fun for all at San Diego Pride!
The San Diego Pride Festival will see more than 200,000 people join in all the festivities over a three-day period and many of those are not only kids at heart but have kids of their own. On Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 Families at The Center is hosting its annual Children's Garden for pint-sized revelers 13 and under.
This is a great experience for kids who want to feel like a part of Pride, they can have fun with face painting, hat making, get balloon art and do arts and crafts and much more with their parents over the weekend. There's also a playhouse giveaway. All this fun can build up quite an appetite, so kids summer favorites will be at hand including hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, and other snacks in a private family-only shaded oasis with tables, chairs, and restrooms.
Your ticket purchase to the festival includes access to five stages of the best entertainment with even more workshops and fun activities brought to you by other community partnership organizations. Plus kids under 14 are free.
Please check out Families at The Center program page for resources and more events!

About Families at the Center
Families at The Center is an inclusive family program at the San Diego LGBT Community Center. Our program is designed to provide resources, education, support and opportunities for community engagement for LGBTQIA+ families and those considering parenthood. At the Center, we believe family is whomever you define as family -related and/or by choice. We welcome anyone you feel has cared about, supported, mentored or nurtured your development. We know that families thrive and grow through the inclusion of many different members and all are welcome to take part in our program.
