No lives were lost, but their home has been destroyed.
A friend to the community, Joshua Robertson-Tucker (pictured left), is asking for help after his family suffered a devastating fire to their home on Sunday. His parents Dave and Rhonda Tucker lost their 19th century restored farmhouse in Parma, Idaho.
In a post dated on Sunday, Joshua said that his family and their dogs were unharmed in the fire but everything else was lost.
"If you are in the area, they could use a hug," he said. "If you are like me, and not able to be there this morning to hold them tight, please send them your positive energy, prayers, and thoughts. If there is more you can do, they would be forever grateful."
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Tuckers during this stressful time, "This restored home was literally the embodiment of their blood, sweat, and tears," says the crowdfunding page. "They were able to save themselves, the dogs, and the clothes on their backs. Everything else was lost."
You can help the family get back on their feet through their GoFundMe page HERE.
San Diego Gay and Lesbian News and all of Hale Media wish that the Tuckers a speedy recovery during this difficult time.
