San Diego Pride revealed its full lineup of entertainment for the 2019 Pride Festival, held at Marston Point in Balboa Park, Saturday, July 13 to Sunday, July 14.

Boasting the largest queer representation to date, entertainers and performers include headliners Melissa Etheridge and King Princess. The festival hosts over 100 entertainers across four stages- The Stonewall Main Stage, Movement Stage (Hip-Hop), Mundo Latino Stage (Latinx) and Euphoria Stage (EDM).

This year’s theme is “Stonewall 50: A Legacy of Liberation,” to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and to honor the Stonewall generation, their activism, and all that the LGBTQ community has gained through their efforts.

Guests are encouraged to save money and time by purchasing festival tickets in advance. Festival general admission tickets are $20 for single-day admission and $25 for a weekend pass. All GA tickets will be $30 at the gate. VIP access is $175 in advance or $200 at the gate if not sold out. Discounted $15 senior general admission passes available at the box office. Meet & Greet tickets are available for King Princess and are sold out for Melissa Etheridge. Volunteers and youth high school-aged and younger will be admitted free.

San Diego Pride was formed in 1974 as a sponsored program of The Center for Social Services which produced the first Lesbian and Gay Parade in San Diego in 1975 to celebrate the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion on New York’s Christopher Street. San Diego Pride was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1994.

Tickets for the San Diego Pride Festival are currently on sale at www.sdpride.org. All proceeds from the festival and parade support San Diego Pride’s LGBTQ-centered philanthropy and year-round education and advocacy programs.
