Volunteers get together for their annual "Trash Talk" at MO's.
Every year the crowds grow to record numbers during Pride and that means more trash is left on the ground.
The Hillcrest Town Council's (HTC) Post Pride Neighborhood Clean Up is a group of volunteers who themselves reveled in San Diego Pride but are committed to getting the neighborhood back in order.
Among the byproducts of Pride are cigarette butts, plastic cups, confetti, food materials and other discarded waste which litter the historic streets.
Volunteers will meet at Lestat's Coffee House on University Avenue at 9 am. Grab some complimentary coffee and pastries before you head out and clean up the neighborhood. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
After the clean-up, meet up at MO's Bar and Grill for the "Trash Talk" After Party. There will be drink tickets for participants and a celebration to the end of another great Pride weekend.
The neighborhood clean up is made possible by contributions from Bank of America!
The Hillcrest Town Council's (HTC) Post Pride Neighborhood Clean Up is on Monday, July 15.
