In late 2009 and early 2010 as I was a approaching 30 years old, I was freaking out! They used to say something like “35 was basically dead in gay years” because of the over-emphasis our gay men’s community can place on youth. I thought 30 was “old,” I thought I should’ve been further along in certain areas of my life, and I just placed way too much emphasis on that number.
This week there was a lot of entertainment news including the announcement that RuPaul finally gets the coveted guest-host spot on Saturday Night Live. Speaking of Mama Ru, the cast of Drag Race season 12 was also announced.

San Diego City Councilmember Chris Ward invites the community to his next "Coffee with Councilmember Chris Ward" on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9-10:30 am. This particular coffee event will be held in and focused on the Normal Heights neighborhood, but everyone is welcome.
