One of the biggest weekends of the year is finally upon us. Although Halloween doesn't officially happen until next Thursday, this week and weekend is packed full of spooktacular entertainment celebrating the season. From costume contests to pool parties to early morning dance celebrations, Hillcrest is coming alive all through the witching hour.

Top of the Bay’s Royal Halloween Party is on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Just in time for Halloween, the Porto Vista Hotel and Top of the Bay has released the town crier into the community with this special event message:

Today Halloween is an LGBTQ extravaganza that rivals -- if not out-showcases -- Pride festivals. 

In the words of the lesbian poet and scholar Judy Grahn, Halloween is "the great gay holiday."

And this weekend of lavish costumed theatricality will attract everyone, but especially lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) revelers.

Clowns are sweeping the nation, law enforcement is concerned

Creepy clowns are frightening the US, and some authorities are concerned.

What used to be a source of entertainment is becoming that of fear as clowns are frightening people in epidemic proportions around the country and has some kids scared in San Diego.
