Hillcrest Town Council

The group that cleans up the streets after Pride

The clean up crew for after San Diego Pride.

If you saw an exhausted but enthusiastic person picking up garbage around Hillcrest today, hopefully, you acknowledged them or said: "Thank you." These are the volunteers who despite partaking in the weekend festivities themselves got up early Monday morning to walk the neighborhood armed with rubber gloves and garbage bags to pick up after thousands of people.

On Monday, July 18, Hillcrest Town Council will host the Post-Pride Cleanup!

Follow up on the Hillcrest Town Council's homelessness forum held in May

On May 10, 2016, the Hillcrest Town Council (HTC) held a forum to discuss homelessness in the neighborhood. The panel included Officer Ricardo Pinon of the San Diego Police Department, Jennifer Buck of Think Dignity, Brandon Smith of the Alpha Project, Benjamin Nichols of the Hillcrest Business Association, and licensed clinical social worker Karina Vesco.

Hillcrest Town Council to host Summer Social on Friday

Since the organization will not host a Communty Meeting in July, they have opted to host this mixer to bring together friends and neighbors in a more casual environment.
