Memorial day

Memorial Day is more than just a bonus day off

America honors its fallen soldiers who died defending the country.

San Diego Gay and Lesbian News, SDPIX and all of Hale Media hope that you are enjoying an extended weekend, and while doing so taking a moment to remember all of those who died serving the United States in battle.

Remember the LGBTQ service members on this Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a time to give pause and remember the fallen in our military branches.

Memorial Day is a day to remember all of those people in the service who have given their lives to keep America free.

Although any person who has died in the line of duty, LGBTQ or straight, is one too many, our community should take an extra pause to recognize the many men and women who have forged the way for equality in all branches of the service, some even dying for it.

SDGLN honors those who have given their lives to protect our freedoms

We at SDGLN and all of Hale Media wish to take a moment to remember all of our fallen heroes this Memorial Day.

Through history, the brave men and women in all branches of the military have given their lives to ensure the freedoms we share as Americans.
