LA Pride insiders air grievances with City of West Hollywood

For a number of years some board members of Christopher Street West, the non-profit organization that has staged the annual LA Pride parade and festival to celebrate LGBT equality since 1970, have quietly voiced their unhappiness with their relationship with the City of West Hollywood and WeHo businesses.

Community groups to host post-Pride neighborhood clean-ups

The Hillcrest Town Council (HTC) and Bankers Hill Residents Group (BHRG) are inviting everyone to take to the streets the morning of July 15, the Monday following the San Diego LGBT Pride weekend, to help clean up after the festivities. San Diego Pride will be donating $10 per volunteer hour to each neighborhood for cleanup efforts.

Marines join Navy in welcoming uniformed servicemembers to San Diego Pride

As the city gears up for this weekend’s annual San Diego LGBT Pride festivities, Marines and sailors with I (First) Marine Expeditionary Force have received authorization to wear approved uniforms in the 39th annual Pride Parade on Saturday, July 13 at 11 am.

San Diego City Council issues 2013 LGBT Pride Proclamation

This morning, the San Diego City Council proclaimed the month of July 2013 to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Month in the city. The proclamation was presented as part of this week's San Diego LGBT Pride festivities, which officially begin Friday.
