Trans scholarships a national first at MiraCosta College

MiraCosta college the first in the country to hand out transgender scholarship.

In a historic first, MiraCosta College in Oceanside will offer a scholarship to transgender students.

The community college announced on Thursday that the Trans Pride Scholarship will be offered every year to a transgender member of the community.

Questionable cross in NYC gets a Pride makeover

A man at the Ocean beach Library threatened to bomb the branch, but not before killing everyone inside reports ABC 10.

An Indianapolis high school crowned their first transgender prom king over the weekend and though there was backlash from some in the student body, he managed to take the prize with the support of the school.

SeaWorld polar bear may have died of grief after same-sex partner moves

Szenja and Snowflake were inseparable for 20 years.

SeaWorld San Diego was the home of same-sex polar bear partners Szenja, 21 and Snowflake, 22.

The two females had been partners in the same enclosure for the past 20 years. However in order to breed with other polar bears, Snowflake was transported to Pittsburg, leaving Szenja in extreme grief.

Missing SD man's body found near crash site

David Medina has been missing since April 5. His family sends us word that his body has been found in an embankment.

Sad news tonight as the family of the missing North Park man David Medina (AKA David Issac Bernal-Medina) says his body has been recovered in an embankment near the site of his automobile accident.
