Remember the LGBTQ service members on this Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a time to give pause and remember the fallen in our military branches.

Memorial Day is a day to remember all of those people in the service who have given their lives to keep America free.

Although any person who has died in the line of duty, LGBTQ or straight, is one too many, our community should take an extra pause to recognize the many men and women who have forged the way for equality in all branches of the service, some even dying for it.

San Diego keeps Harvey Milk's legacy alive

Harvey Milk (1930–1978)

Today marks the 87th birthday of LGBT activist and politician Harvey Milk.

The northern California gay rights icon dedicated his life to the community and made great strides in advancing the movement in the United States until he was assassinated in 1978. He was the first-ever out gay politician.

Estelle and Tinashe to perform at San Diego Pride

San Diego Pride has just released some more information on their entertainment lineup for Pride 2017.

Singers Estelle and Tinashe have been added as musical guests and will perform at the Music Festival which takes place on Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16.
