Chick-fil-A isn't getting a franchise location at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The food chain is currently in the hot seat after their 2017 tax returns were made public showing the company donated over a million dollars to notoriously homophobic organizations. 

Hillcrest Pride Flag restored after vandalism in February

Two months ago, the Hillcrest Pride flag was vandalized and immediately the community got to work fundraising for its repair. 

Today it was revealed that those repairs have been made and the monument is back good as new.

Hillcrest 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint

Thief robs 7-Eleven on Washington St. in Hillcrest.

The San Diego Police Department is reporting that a 7-Eleven in Hillcrest was robbed early Thursday morning.

They say at approximately 5:40 am a man armed with a handgun walked into the store located at 126 Washington St. and demanded cash. 

According to Officer Sarah Foster, after the cashier complied the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. 

Brunei to implement death penalty for gay sex

The tiny nation of Brunei is being accused of human rights violations by Amnesty International for criminal laws that will go into effect on April 3.

The laws would mean that citizens caught having gay sex could be put to death by way of stoning. Thieves would suffer amputation if caught. These laws would also apply to children.
