Taiwan passes marriage equality, a historic first for Asia.

Taiwan has made history today as it became the first place in Asia for same-sex couples to legally marry. 

Lawmakers on the self-ruled island state approved a bill following two years of preparation to amend existing marriage laws which were deemed unconstitutional in 2017.

Waiter forgiven by gay customers after he calls them a slur

A small New York restaurant is apologizing to a gay couple who were called "fa**ots" by one of their waiters as they were exiting the restaurant this week. 

The slur was said in Spanish according to Craig Hollid-Ausset and his husband Marc at the Casa Rustica in Smithtown, Long Island.
